There are many different products that are "banned" in different countries. Think Hydroquinone and even Retinols.

In the amounts we use of the ingredients in question, we feel they are very safe.

There is always risk vs. benefit. There are preservatives we add in very small amounts since there are also very real risks of not preserving, such as bacterial overgrowth.
