If you’re making a return, the points you earned for that purchase will be deducted from your account.

If you're returning a full order that you redeemed points on, the points you used will be added back into your rewards account so you can use them for your next purchase. If you're only returning part of the order, the points you redeemed for that order will stay allocated to the discount applied to the remainder of the order.
